listening

so much of what we do, even in our visual work, involves listening. listening to the audience, listening to our client, listening to our world. if you don't listen, you can't hear.

learning

history is where problems are often solved before we ever define them as problems.

balance

creative work isn't worth anything if it's not fun for you, the audience, everyone who sees your message. even the most sober message needs to be balanced with un-serious emotions to make a connection.

movement

caffine is as important to our ability to meet deadlines as is physical movement.

lighting

Vittorio Storaro said Cinematography means 'writing with light' in Italian. We use the language of lighting to tell stories visually.

philosophy

a lot of our philosophy comes from Dr. Theodore Geisel aka, Dry Suess.

lounge

there is plenty of space for you to relax and enjoy the space. there's plenty of time to do it.

utensils

we use all kinds of tools. some of them are as modern as just last week. others are millenia old like charcoal, rocks, drums, etc..

bond

we like to spend time with you. why wouldn't we? you have all the answers.

beats

we play our own instruments. it sounds weird to have to say that; when I started playing music who didn't? but today, it's a stretch. but yes, we play all our own instruments, guitars, drums piano, accordion, vibraphones, even recorder.

connect

connecting with your audience is what it's all about. if you don't connect, you don't communicate. we have many ways of helping you connect.

back-up

some times we see too many trees for the forest. we'll help you take a step back and see your forest.

muse

what inspires you? we're inspired by anything from a bunch of asparagus, trash dumpsters, even air ducts.

protect

our job is to watch over what makes you uniquely you and to nurture that. if it's not unique, it's just part of the noise. we'll watch over you.

hydrate

one of our favorite days is water delivery day. sure, it's a four-story carry but that's why we have the second largest freight elevator in Kansas City (seriously, it's huge, almost 30-feet long).

color

we don't have a favorite color. unless gray-scale is a color, and even then we're not sure we'd call it our favorite. the best color, is the right color.

care

the care and feeding of your project is as important to us as it is you.

rhythm

we love music. we love what's used to make music, the P-Bass, the Les Paul, Ludwigs, Yamahas, all of it is beautiful to us.
